The rules are pretty simple.
One bike
One gear
the first One to finish will be
the winner.
Male and female categories.
Here are some of the FAQ:
Q: Will it be an endurance Race?
A: No it will be a set distance cross country race.
Q: Can people from out of state ride in it?
A: Yes. We will have awards for 1, 2, 3 finishers and a separate award for the highest finisher that is a Wisconsin resident.
Q: What categories will there be?
A: It is an open race there will be a Female category and a Male Category
The top three male and female finishers in the 2008 race will decide the 2009 location for the Wisconsin Single Speed State Championship race. The 1st place finishers will get 25 "chips" 2nd place will get 15 "chips" and 3rd place will get 10 "chips" for a total of 100 "chips". These chips can be all voted for one location or split among as many as they choose. The location with the most chips will host the 2009 SS Championship.
