The course is nestled in southern Clark County, just 3 miles north of
Hatfield. Special thanks goes out to the Neillsville Area Trail
Association (N.A.T.A.) and Neillsville Area Single Track Inhabitants
(N.A.S.T.I.) for the development of some of the best epic trails in the
Midwest. One lap will be approximately 12.5 miles with 80% single track
and 20% double track. The terrain will consist of hard packed dirt, soft
dirt, mud, sand, grass, rocks, roots, logs, boulders, ladders, and just
about anything else that mother nature can throw in. There will be some
long climbs with rewarding singletrack on the descents.
Note: To all previous Levis Mound racers, the 2008 course will be more
challenging than ever with technical singletrack and a few punishing
climbs. Thank You Singlespeeders for choosing Levis as the battle
grounds for the 2009 Wisconsin Singlespeed Championship Race.
