12 HOURS of GEARS

The purpose of this event is to raise funds and awareness for mountain bike trail development and improvement in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. Our goal is to provide a festival atmosphere, improve mountain biking in Wisconsin, encourage and educate riders, maintain existing trails and encourage advocacy and volunteerism. Mountain biking is a privilege. the way we ride, use existing trails and the way we treat other trail users all have an impact on the future of mountain biking.
The New Fane Trails in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest are once again home to the annual
12 Hours of GEARS Race this year.
The course will be approximately 4 miles long.

The 12 Hours of GEARS  will have a unique team class to promote family participation.
We are going to have a 4 person family team class.
( family = Mom. Dad, Brother, Sister, Grandma, or Grandpa)
Families will get a discount of  $10.00 per rider.

Limited to 200 riders

DNR trail pass per person & State Park Sticker for each vehicle are required and are available on race day.
