12 Hours of the Northern Kettles
May 23, 2009

The Greenbush Trails in the Northern Kettle Moraine Forest will host the 2009 edition of the Northern Kettles race. In late 2007 and early 2008, singletrack trails were built to separate the bike trails from the ski trails. The race course will utilize these singletrack trails. Camping is also available on site.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds and awareness for mountain bike trail development and improvement in the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. Our goal is to provide a festival atmosphere, improve mountain biking in Wisconsin, encourage and educate riders, maintain existing trails and encourage advocacy and volunteerism. Mountain biking is a privilege. the way we ride, use existing trails and the way we treat other trail users all have an impact on the future of mountain biking.
